This tour is designed for those seeking a challenging and immersive desert experience. Over 5 days of riding, you will cross mountains, dry riverbeds, valleys, and massive dunes, exploring some of the most breathtaking corners of Morocco. An adventure of endurance, excitement, and discovery.

  • Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
  • Accommodation: 4 nights in hotel or riad + 1 night in a Berber camp
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1:

Arrival in Ouarzazate – Welcome and Preparation
Morning:

  • Pickup from Ouarzazate or Errachidia airport.
  • Check in at the hotel and briefing about the expedition.

Afternoon:

  • KTM motorcycle setup and full itinerary review with the team.
  • Dinner and rest before the adventure begins.
Day 2:

Ouarzazate to Foum Zguid (203 KM)
Morning:

  • Early breakfast followed by departure toward the High Atlas Mountains.
  • Initial stretch on paved roads before heading into sandy and rocky off road terrain.

Afternoon:

  • Crossing the dry Iriki Lake and arriving in Foum Zguid.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel with a pool.
Day 3:

Foum Zguid to Oualid Driss (170 KM)
Morning:

  • Drive through medium sized dunes and Dakar Rally style tracks.
  • Lunch at a nomadic desert camp.

Afternoon:

  • Journey toward M’hamid, the last village before the deep Sahara.
  • Stay at a traditional riad with dinner included.
Day 4:

Oualid Driss to Ouzina (221 KM)
Morning:

  • Crossing near the Algerian border along high speed desert tracks.
  • Stop at the dry Lake Mader for a special lunch experience.

Afternoon:

  • Intense ride through sand and fresh terrain on the way to Ouzina.
  • Arrival at the desert camp, followed by dinner and music under the stars.
Day 5:

Ouzina to Erg Chebbi to Merzouga (97 KM)
Morning:

  • Ride across to the Erg Chebbi dunes, the tallest in Morocco.
  • Deep sand riding challenge followed by a desert picnic.

Afternoon:

  • Arrival in Merzouga, marking the end of the motorcycle journey.
  • Farewell dinner and overnight stay at a hotel with a pool.

Day 6:

Merzouga to Todra Gorges to Boumalne Dades
Morning:

  • 4x4 journey to the breathtaking Todra Gorges.
  • Optional hike through the canyon.

Afternoon:

  • Travel to Boumalne Dades, a valley surrounded by mountains.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a boutique hotel with stunning views.

Day 7:

Boumalne Dades to Ouarzazate to Departure
Morning:

  • Final leg back to Ouarzazate.
  • Lunch and free time to explore the city.

Afternoon:

  • Transfer to the airport or option to extend your trip upon request.
