This 6 day tour with 4 days of riding is an extreme adventure designed for motocross enthusiasts and lovers of wild desert landscapes. You will ride through epic routes, cross dry riverbeds, tackle massive dunes, and discover Berber culture in remote villages. A one of a kind experience that combines adrenaline, breathtaking scenery, and the true spirit of the desert.
  • Starting Point: Marrakech or Errachidia
  • Duration: 6 days / 5 nights
  • Accommodation: 3 nights in hotel or riad + 1 night in a Berber camp
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1:

Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Merzouga
Morning:

  • Pickup from your hotel in Marrakech or from Errachidia airport.
  • We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi N’Tichka Pass 2,260 m, the highest road pass in Morocco.
  • Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, the iconic UNESCO World Heritage kasbah.

Afternoon:

  • Pass through Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert and home to major film studios.
  • Arrival in Merzouga Merzouga, where we settle into the hotel and prepare the motorcycles
  • Dinner and briefing about the adventure ahead.
Day 2:

Merzouga – Taous – Ramlia – Tafraout – Ouzina
Morning: 

  • Breakfast and departure from Merzouga on your motorcycle.
  • Ride through the village of Taous and enter the first dunes of Ramlia.
  • Technical route across sandy tracks and rocky valleys heading toward Tafraout.

Afternoon: 

  • Lunch in Tafraout, an oasis in the heart of the Sahara.
  • Sand riding challenges before reaching Ouzina, where we will spend the night in a local riad.
Day 3:

Ouzina – Mharech Oasis – Jarf – Erfoud
Morning:

  • Off road ride toward the Mharech Oasis, a hidden retreat in the desert.
  • Descent through canyons and ancient dry riverbeds.

Afternoon:

  • Lunch in Jarf, a small traditional village.
  • Ride to Erfoud, where we will visit the famous fossil workshop.
  • Overnight stay at a hotel with a pool to relax after an intense day of riding.

Day 4:

Erfoud – Safsaf Oasis – Nomadic Family – Erg Chebbi
Morning:

  • Explore the Safsaf Oasis, a hidden paradise among the dunes.
  • Meet a nomadic family, share tea, and learn about their way of life.

Afternoon:

  • Extreme ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes, the heart of the desert.
  • Berber desert camp, where we will spend the night under the stars.

Day 5:

Erg Chebbi Dunes – Mfis – Znigi – Merzouga
Morning:

  • Sunrise in the desert with traditional Moroccan tea.
  • Ride across the Mfis dunes, a technical and challenging experience

Afternoon:

  • Journey toward Znigi, where the dunes are smoother and more flowing.
  • Return to Merzouga, where we complete the motorcycle adventure.
  • Dinner and rest at the hotel.

Day 6:

Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Morning:

  • Early departure crossing the Valley of Roses and Skoura.
  • Stop in the High Atlas for final photos of the adventure.

Afternoon:

  • Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
  • End of the tour.
